The FAQ

Do you Travel?

Yes I do travel, anything over 30 miles from my studio address is an additional $100. There are plenty of gorgeous locations in the Bay Area to choose from!

How long have you been doing this?

I fell in love with the camera during photo class in high school, and continued to focus on it throughout my college career. I worked at sears portrait, JCPenny Portraits and Picture People. After that I ventured off and started to shoot on the side during full time school, and then quit retail and pursued my dream as a full time photographer in 2017.

How many photos do we get?

Each package comes with a set number of images.

After your session I will go through and find the best ones to edit and then upload into a gallery where you can choose your favorites or purchase all for an additional fee.

How do we get our photos?

All packages come with digital images that you can download, they are high resolution and can be printed up to very large sizes. I also offer prints through your gallery when you click the shopping cart icon.

Do you retouch photos?

I do include basic retouching if there are scratches or bruises. I do not retouch hair / wrinkles / body shape. Any detailed retouching is an additional fee per image.

Newborn sessions come with a soft skin retouch automatically, as well as removing all blemishes and most skin flakes. I will not remove birth marks, such as Rosies or stork bites, unless asked to.

Whats your turn around time?

My turn around time is typically 2 weeks depending on the session. Cake Smashes are usually sent within 72 hours. Sitter and everyday minis are usually sent within 1 week. During the holidays and my busy season, these could take 1-2 weeks.

How do we book you?

The best way to contact me is via text. Send a text to (408) 476-9477 with your first and last name and the type of session you are interested in and we can discuss and go from there.

When do you book sessions?

I only photograph Monday - Friday.
I do work on weekends but they are only for specific holiday minis, and the other weekends are dedicated to spending time with my family.

How far out do you book?

I prefer to book a few months in advance as I cant guarantee a time and date last minute. I rarely book the week of.

What age is best to photograph a newborn ?

The ideal time for capturing a newborn and all their tiny cuteness is 5-12 days. I have photographed newborns up to 2 months old, but the older they are the less they sleep and the less they are willing to be posed.
