Family Portraits

Family portraits can be done outdoors at your favorite location or preferred landscape; or in my studio located in Milpitas. I have an extensive list of locations, and I am happy to share all the options available once you have booked your session with me.

The best time of day for an outdoor family session is 1-1.5 hours before sunset, this is called golden hour. Sometimes depending on location it could be a little earlier than that or even midday, but typically golden hour is best.

If you are looking to book a studio family session; I do offer family minis that will cater to photographing your family on one backdrop in studio. These are classic portraits that I absolutely love doing, these are typically much more posed and focused on getting everyone to smile at the camera.

During your outdoor family session, I will always capture everyone looking and smiling at the camera, I will also make the session fun and capture some candid moments of everyone playing and loving one another. I have worked with all ages and personalities and I am well experienced with children. I have two boys myself who are 12 and 8 years old, and my oldest client will be turning 15 this year!

I also offer extended family sessions; depending on size they can be done in studio or can be outdoors. For an in studio extended family session it is the same price as my outdoor family session. The family session price includes the immediate family (parents and children) and then it is an additional $35 per person to add on from the base price.
